Majed Saeed Al Gamdi oversees the comprehensive operations, maintenance and strategic planning of facilities management, ensuring the safety, efficiency and sustainability of the organisation's physical assets, including buildings, equipment and associated facilities. He leads a multidisciplinary team to deliver the highest standards of operational excellence, safety compliance and stakeholder satisfaction. His responsibilities include developing and implementing long-term strategies for facilities management, operations, maintenance, safety and security; preparing, monitoring and controlling the facilities management budget; developing and tracking key performance indicators for departments, staff and service providers; and recruiting, training and developing a specialised team of facilities management professionals. He also ensures compliance with safety regulations and the application of international best practice, identifies and mitigates risks associated with facilities operations and safety, supervises daily operations, maintenance activities and emergency response procedures, manages relationships with contractors, suppliers and service providers to secure quality performance against targets, prepares and submits periodic reports on facilities performance, safety assessments and budget performance, and promotes continuous improvement across operations, safety procedures and the facilities management system as a whole.
