Director of Innovation

Maha Altalk directs innovation at the Saudi Ministry of Health, bringing technical depth in artificial intelligence into a large and complex health system. Her career began in academia at the University of Tabuk, where she completed a bachelor's degree in computer science and later taught, before earning a master's degree in artificial intelligence from the same university. She moved from teaching into applied artificial intelligence research with the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority, then worked as a machine learning engineer at NEOM, and afterwards carried that engineering grounding into the health sector. Her working areas span artificial intelligence modelling, data analysis and the practical deployment of emerging technologies across health services, with a consistent emphasis on connecting research output to implementation inside health facilities.
