Lara Paemen is Managing Director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at the International Facility Management Association, responsible for leading and delivering the association's regional strategy across the region. She holds an academic qualification in interior design alongside a master's degree in international business administration, and brings 18 years of experience in strategic workplace consultancy and change management across Europe prior to joining IFMA. Lara is a prominent speaker at conferences and events specialised in the facilities management sector, and her work has received wide coverage in magazines and platforms dedicated to facility management and real estate worldwide. She is based in Belgium and, through her role at IFMA, continues to contribute to the development of the facilities management sector and to promoting modern workplace practices and strategies across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
