Imraan Jhetam is the founder and chief executive of Synthalis, an artificial-intelligence-native medical technology and pharmaceutical venture registered in London and incorporated in April 2025. The company describes itself as turning innovation from the Middle East, Africa and the United Kingdom into global health solutions, and works along two lines: medical devices, and drugs in development, including what it terms smart medicine and the design of novel ligands. Jhetam has built the venture around a leadership team that pairs clinical and scientific depth with data science and artificial intelligence capability, with dedicated commercial, financial, international partnerships and research and development functions. Synthalis has established a Saudi subsidiary through the Research, Development and Innovation Authority, opening the way to biopharmaceutical research and early clinical work inside the Kingdom's biotechnology ecosystem.
