Hayan Sayed

With over three decades of international experience, Hayan Sayed is a prominent leader in the facility management industry across Europe and the Middle East. His background includes leading major facility management and technology organisations, advising boards, and spearheading digital transformation and governance reform within some of the region's most complex environments. He is the current Chairman of the IFMA UAE Chapter and a Board Director for IFMA EMEA, actively shaping the FM profession through global standards, education, and innovation. He also serves as Independent Board Director and Chairman of the Executive Committee at SRACO, one of Saudi Arabia's largest service providers, where he drives performance transformation aligned with Vision 2030 objectives. Previously he held executive roles including CEO of Al-Futtaim Engineering and Technologies, where he led integrated digital solutions and high-tech services, and CEO of AG Facilities Management, overseeing more than 17,000 employees across mission-critical projects. He has also served as Board Director at Emrill, supporting technology adoption and operational excellence across a portfolio of landmark assets. He holds a PhD in Industrial Systems Engineering from France and is recognised for his expertise in data-driven transformation, smart building systems, sustainability strategies, and FM compliance frameworks.
