Antoine Abou Moussa
Consultant
Antoine Abou Moussa is an environmental engineer and entrepreneur who works as a consultant with Nulabe, a nine-person consultancy serving companies and public institutions across the Middle East and Africa in energy, environment, supply chain, logistics and technology, with an emphasis on circularity, decarbonisation, net-zero transformation and environmental product innovation. He holds a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering, a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a university diploma in social entrepreneurship. In early 2017, at the peak of Lebanon's waste crisis, he co-founded Compost Baladi SAL with the environmental scientist Marc Aoun, in partnership with the impact investment body Fondation Diane. The enterprise builds low-cost, locally manufactured equipment for recycling solid and liquid organic waste, including wooden composters, the aerated Earth Cube and the CubeX, which treats sewage together with food scraps, and it serves households, restaurants, universities, businesses, municipalities, non-profit organisations and refugee settlements. He also works as a trainer and adviser in environmental services.
