Elisabeth Roider

Founding Partner, Maximon

Elisabeth Roider is a physician-scientist and board-certified dermatologist who co-founded Maximon, the Zug-based longevity company builder that funds and builds science-led healthy-ageing firms, and has served as its partner and chief scientific and medical officer since 2022. She qualified in medicine at LMU Munich in 2011, completed a PhD in clinical medicine through Harvard and the University of Szeged in 2020, and took an MBA at the University of St Gallen in 2021; she is board certified in dermatology under both FMH and FEBDV. She has held group leader and academic appointments at Harvard Medical School and the University Hospital of Basel, and her laboratory work covers pigmentation biology, mitochondrial resilience, RNA therapeutics and cancer prevention, with more than forty papers published, including in Cell, Nature and The Lancet. She founded the advisory practice InnoMed Advisors and the skin longevity companies EMR BioHealth and Nova Skin Health, whose Melantique is a UV-free tanning gel licensed from Harvard, and she invests through the Longevity Co-Investment Fund in diagnostics, nutraceuticals and preventive care.
