Björn Bodenstein

Managing Director, Saudi Arabia

Björn Bodenstein is Managing Director for Saudi Arabia at Siemens Healthineers, based in Riyadh. He joined the company in 2009 after studies in information technology and business, beginning in sales and account management for diagnostic imaging and radiation oncology systems in south-west Germany. In 2014 he moved to Dubai as head of strategy and business development for the Middle East and Africa, and in 2021 was appointed chief executive for Thailand, Myanmar and Cambodia before returning to the Gulf. In his current role he has overseen the launch with the Saudi Ministry of Health of the SHIFT Innovation Center in Riyadh, and his work focuses on supporting the Kingdom's health transformation through innovation, digital transformation and partnerships, with attention to access to care, sustainability and the development of local talent.
