Abdullah AlMoqbel is Group Safety Management Director at stc Group, where he leads the development and governance of corporate safety programmes across administrative facilities, operational sites, retail locations, warehouses and critical infrastructure. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering alongside an Executive MBA, and brings more than 12 years of professional experience across telecommunications, aviation, construction, transport and insurance. His expertise centres on corporate safety governance, life safety and fire prevention, emergency management, operational resilience, business continuity and safety culture transformation. Over his career he has led enterprise-wide initiatives that strengthened organisational resilience by embedding international safety standards, emergency preparedness, risk management and executive governance into business operations, and he has successfully overseen large-scale programmes in emergency response readiness, critical facility risk assessment, safety compliance and institutional capability building. Before moving into the telecommunications sector, he played a leading role in securing the first health accreditation for an airport in Saudi Arabia. Beyond his executive responsibilities, he contributes to the advancement of the safety profession in the Kingdom through national initiatives on occupational safety and health competencies, incident investigation and professional development, and his current interests focus on the future of safety in the digital age, including artificial intelligence, predictive technologies and data-driven decision-making.
