Abdullah Al Maddah is a senior healthcare executive and accreditation professional with more than 25 years of leadership experience across complex healthcare systems. His career reflects a strong blend of technical expertise, executive management, and accreditation governance, with a sustained focus on quality improvement, patient safety, facility management, and regulatory compliance. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering and a Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, and is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) in Healthcare Management at Swiss Business School. He has served in multiple CXO-level leadership roles, consistently delivering organisational objectives through strategic planning, operational excellence, financial stewardship, and multidisciplinary collaboration. His expertise spans healthcare operations, facility management, clinical engineering, finance, and large-scale healthcare project management, including the commissioning and management of hospitals and ambulatory care centres accredited by JCI and CBAHI. His career includes senior roles at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre, National Guard Health Affairs, the International Medical Center (Extended Care Center), Elaj Medical Group, and Jeddah Park Hospital. He has been a Certified CBAHI Surveyor since 2003 and, in 2022, became a Certified Assessor with the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards (ACHS). He has also contributed to the development of hospital and ambulatory care accreditation standards, work formally recognised through an honour certificate from the former Saudi Minister of Health, Dr Abdullah Al-Rabeeah, for his role in advancing healthcare quality and patient safety.
