Chief Technology Officer

Yasser AlKathlan is chief technology officer of the Real Estate Registry (RER), the National Company for Real Estate Registration Services, which holds the exclusive mandate to carry out the operational work of real estate registration in Saudi Arabia. RER is building the Kingdom's registry infrastructure in sequenced phases and runs a unified digital platform through which owners complete the first registration of their properties and subsequent transactions such as ownership transfer, merging and subdivision, and the management of rights, restrictions and obligations, alongside services for searching property records and verifying title deeds. The platform also serves institutions, banks and developers with corporate portfolio dashboards, gives licensed real estate registrars a channel to complete transactions for their clients, and lets developers register off-plan sale licences and issue certificates to buyers. RER's board is chaired by the Minister of Municipalities and Housing, Majed Al-Hogail.
