A Saudi engineer serving as Chief Executive Officer and board member of the Real Estate General Authority since May 2022. He holds a bachelor's degree in architecture and building sciences from King Saud University (2010) and completed the leadership programme at Harvard Business School in 2019. He previously served as deputy minister for land and survey at the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, and as assistant deputy minister for land at the Ministry of Housing. He chairs the off-plan sales committee (Wafi) and the real estate contributions committee, and is general supervisor of the white land tax programme. Under his management the authority regulates the Saudi real estate market, licenses brokerage and development activity, and has rolled out the legislative framework aimed at raising transparency and ordering the relationship between developer, broker and consumer.
