Ahmed Mohammed Alsuwaiyan
Governor
Governor and board member of the Digital Government Authority since May 2021, appointed by royal decree at excellent rank. He brings more than 20 years of experience across telecommunications, information technology and the financial and banking sectors. Before his current post he headed the National Centre for Government Resources Systems, and served as Deputy Minister of Finance for Technology and Development between March 2017 and February 2021. Prior to moving into government he spent about a decade at Etihad Etisalat (Mobily), holding a series of positions between 2005 and 2015. He sits on the boards of the National Centre for Government Resources Systems and the Saudi Business Centre. Under his leadership the authority regulates digital government work across the Kingdom and raises the maturity of digital services in public entities.
