Vice Governor for Standards and Metrology

Vice Governor of the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization for standards and metrology. He oversees the drafting, approval and international alignment of Saudi standards, and the national calibration and measurement system on which market surveillance of goods and services rests. He has represented the organisation at a number of international and regional forums, delivered the opening address on behalf of the governor at the eighth Standards Forum in 2024, and opened the first edition of the Arab Technical Committees Week for Standards hosted by Riyadh in May of the same year with standardisation experts from across the Arab states. His remit extends to standards governing the construction sector, building materials and building efficiency.
