Williams Salami

Founder

A Nigerian entrepreneur, founder and chief executive of BuildTrack, based in Abuja. He is building Africa's first standardised construction technology platform, serving the Nigerian property and development sector. The platform rests on transparent tracking systems for developers that show project progress to buyers and investors, addressing one of the most difficult problems in the Nigerian market, where a buyer pays up front into a project whose progress they cannot see. He argues that transparency is today a competitive advantage for a developer, and will tomorrow become an expected industry practice rather than an exception. The company belongs to the African wave of construction technology firms tackling the trust gap with tools for measurement and documentation.
