Usha Rao-Monari is a senior infrastructure investment professional with more than thirty years of experience leading investment platforms and departments inside asset investment and management organisations. She has served as under-secretary-general of the United Nations, senior adviser to Blackstone Infrastructure Partners, chief executive of Global Water Development Partners and director at the International Finance Corporation. She chairs the Voluntary Carbon Markets Integrity Initiative and HMKLIII JET Limited, sits on the audit and advisory committee of UNOPS, the international advisory panel on carbon credits in Singapore and the advisory committee for the new economy unit of EY, and previously sat on the environmental steering committee for NEOM and served as a commissioner of the Global Commission on the Economics of Water.
