Orn Supaphol

Chief Technical Officer

Orn Supaphol is chief technical officer at Saudi Desert Control, where she leads the development and deployment of soil restoration technologies. She holds a doctorate in soil science from Kasetsart University in Thailand and Newcastle University in the United Kingdom, and has decades of experience spanning academic research and industrial application across Thailand, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. Her work applies liquid natural clay technology to arid land, supporting water conservation, sustainable agriculture and desert afforestation, and she collaborates with Estidama, Princess Nourah University and King Saud University on sustainable agriculture research. She was nominated for the V60 award for women leading climate and sustainability, named among the 200 global power women leaders in 2024, and honoured as a GreenSignature global impact honouree in 2026.
