Mohamed Youssef is senior vice president at AtkinsRéalis, the engineering and project management group formerly known as SNC-Lavalin, which designs and delivers infrastructure across water, transport, energy and the built environment. In the Middle East the group works on water and wastewater treatment, desalination and network programmes for utilities and public authorities, where the engineering questions are increasingly inseparable from questions of energy use and asset performance.
