Umer Abbas is the founder and chief executive of Narsun Studios, which he started in 2016 in Lahore, Pakistan, and he also serves as chief executive of its Saudi arm, Narsun Studios Arabia. The company builds artificial intelligence, immersive technology and digital twin solutions for governments, real estate developers and global brands, with in-house capability in Unity and Unreal Engine development, 3D architectural visualisation and virtual environments. According to the company, it was the first AI and immersive studio worldwide to be selected under the Saudi Ministry of Investment's IGNITE programme, and it has delivered digital twins for national housing authorities, extended reality experiences for Saudi tourism and AI platforms for brands such as Coca-Cola, PwC and the NBA, with more than 500 projects for over 300 clients. He has said he founded Narsun after seeing a gap between what technology could do and what the market was actually delivering, and he describes his management style as that of a mentor who works alongside his team.
