Suj Premachandran
CEO
Founder of Digital Influx, an education and workforce development company pioneering the teaching of user experience design, artificial intelligence ethics and cognitive design to young people. His work sits at the intersection of neuroscience, human behaviour, user experience and artificial intelligence, examining how technology reshapes the way people think, learn and work. His argument is that artificial intelligence skills matter while the human brain remains the greatest asset of the future workforce, and an asset at risk: as young people offload thinking, memory and problem-solving to machines, early research signals a decline in critical thinking and independent reasoning. The company launched its user experience curriculum in Texas with approval from the Texas Education Agency, then expanded into the United Kingdom through partnerships including the Mayor's Academy and Westminster Kingsway College, and into New South Wales in Australia. He is now developing cognitive design programmes that address cognitive offloading directly, piloted with GEMS Wellington International School in Dubai as a first step towards wider expansion of artificial intelligence education across the Middle East. Alongside education he specialises in artificial intelligence and user experience recruitment and workforce development.
