Jasmina Mangafić
Professor
Full professor of economics and head of the Office for Climate Change and Sustainability at the University of Sarajevo. An internationally credentialed expert in sustainability reporting, climate risk, sustainable finance and the circular economy, she holds the IFRS Foundation's fundamentals of sustainability accounting credential, GARP's sustainability and climate risk certificate, GRI certified sustainability professional and ESRS designations, and a diploma in green finance from the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management. She leads the university's sustainability education and certification hub, which partners with the IFRS Foundation, GRI and GARP to bring globally recognised programmes onto one platform and is an accredited continuing professional development provider. After completing the University of Cambridge circular economy and sustainability strategies programme she co-authored the first local-language book on circular business models and introduced a dedicated course into the formal curriculum. Over fifteen years she has led teams advising governments on World Bank, Green Climate Fund, UNDP and KfW programmes, helped establish a revolving energy-efficiency fund for public buildings, advanced energy service company models and led development of national green taxonomy guidelines aligned with European Union standards.
