Executive director of the Lien Centre for Social Innovation, whose mission is to enable impact organisations to do good better. The centre works as impact consultant to philanthropists, foundations, charities, government agencies, social enterprises and businesses, designing evidence-driven strategies that are sustainable, impactful and measurable. Partnering with academics at Singapore Management University and other institutions, it applies rigorous research methods to translate evidence into action through impact consultancy and measurement, strategic planning, capacity building, training and programme management. He brings two decades of international C-suite leadership in large global charities spanning 150 countries. Before joining the university he was chief executive of an international charity, leading a team of 350 staff serving 3,500 beneficiaries including people with disabilities, youth at risk and low-income families with children, following twelve years leading the operation of medical ships serving remote communities worldwide.
