Ex Minister

A Jordanian economist, former minister and investment specialist whose career spans economic policy, labour markets, investment and institutional development. He served as Jordan's Minister of Labour and Minister of State for Investment Affairs, and held senior public-sector posts including chairman of the Social Security Corporation, chairman of the Development and Employment Fund and chairman of the Technical and Vocational Skills Development Commission. He also directed the Prime Minister's Private Office and worked as an expert at the Central Bank of Jordan. He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Jordan, a master's in finance from the University of Nottingham and a doctorate in investment from the University of Warwick. He is founder and chairman of EntreViable, which connects technology, education and labour-market development, and reaches an audience of more than three million followers with commentary on investment, financial markets, artificial intelligence and public policy.
