Srinivas J. Setty is Founder and Managing Director of BESPIN Technologies, a Munich-based company developing a recoverable stratospheric platform that operates at 18 to 20 kilometres altitude. The platform combines lighter-than-air and heavier-than-air flight in a hybrid architecture, uses wind-assisted soaring to hold position for months and is designed to be reflown. It serves applications in security, climate monitoring, connectivity and environmental observation. The company works with the ESA Business Incubation Centre, TUM Venture Labs Aerospace and the University of the Bundeswehr Munich.
