Haytham AlOhali
Governor
Haytham AlOhali is Governor of the Communications, Space & Technology Commission (CST) of Saudi Arabia. A Royal Decree appointed him to the post at the Excellent Rank on 12 February 2026; he had served as acting governor since 9 May 2025. He holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Seattle University in the United States. He began his career as a network engineer at Motorola, then served as deputy general manager of ICDL Saudi Arabia between 2003 and 2006. He joined Cisco Saudi Arabia in 2006, rose through its senior ranks and became its managing director in 2017. On 2 June 2018 a Royal Decree appointed him Deputy Minister of Communications and Information Technology at the Excellent Rank, a post he held until his appointment as Governor. In 2021 he was named chairman of the board of the Arab Satellite Communications Organization (Arabsat). He is a board member of the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property and of the Digital Government Authority, and a recipient of the King Abdulaziz Medal, First Class.
