Adel Al-Saleh

CEO

Adel Al-Saleh has been Chief Executive Officer of SES since February 2024 and has more than 30 years of senior leadership experience at IT and telecommunications companies. He holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Boston University and an MBA from Florida Atlantic University. He spent nearly two decades at IBM in a series of senior roles, the last being vice president and general manager of sales and industries for the IBM Northeast Europe integrated operating team in 2006. In 2007 he joined IMS Health as president for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, later becoming president of its US business. In 2011 he became CEO of Northgate Information Solutions following its acquisition by KKR. From January 2018 he was CEO of T-Systems International and a member of the Board of Management of Deutsche Telekom, before moving to SES.
