Ashraf AlTahini is Chief Executive Officer of Aramco Digital, appointed in May 2026, with nearly three decades of experience in digital transformation, innovation and advanced technologies. Aramco Digital focuses on industrial AI and digital transformation, with offerings spanning software, industrial applications, cybersecurity, connectivity services and digital consulting. He holds a PhD and a master's degree in petroleum and geological engineering from the University of Oklahoma and a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals. At Saudi Aramco he was Vice President of the Upstream Digital Center, led the EXPEC Advanced Research Center and its global research ecosystem, and oversaw one of the company's largest digital transformation programmes. He later joined Aramco Digital as Business Executive President and board member before his appointment as CEO.
