Research & Development Manager

Sherif Esam is a Research & Development Manager and HV/EHV Cable Systems Specialist with 18 years of experience in the cable industry, including more than a decade specialising in high- and extra-high-voltage cable systems. He leads R&D and HV cable qualification activities at Red Sea Cables Company, with expertise spanning cable system design, manufacturing, accessories, technical engineering, testing and qualification, new product development and technical approvals. His experience includes working closely with utilities, contractors, laboratories and industry partners to develop and deliver reliable HV/EHV cable solutions. He holds a BSc in Electrical Power Engineering from Zagazig University, Egypt.
