Leila Al Suhaimi

Head of Sustainability

Leila Al Suhaimi is head of sustainability at RETAL Urban Development, a Saudi real estate developer listed on the Saudi Exchange that builds residential communities and mixed-use districts across the Kingdom. In that role she is responsible for how sustainability is written into the way projects are designed and delivered, from the efficiency of buildings and the energy they consume to the environmental performance of the communities the company hands over. Sustainability in Saudi housing development sits at the meeting point of building codes, energy demand and the long-term running cost of a home.
