Riyadh Al Shahrani

Senior Program Manager, Projects Delivery

Riyadh Al Shahrani is a senior program manager for projects delivery at TAWAL, the company that designs, builds and operates the towers carrying Saudi Arabia's mobile networks and that now holds more than 30,000 sites across the Kingdom, Bulgaria, Croatia, Slovenia and Pakistan. Delivery in a tower business runs the whole life of a build: reading demand and setting scope, estimating budgets, reviewing bids and drafting contracts, then handing the finished asset to the teams who will operate it for decades. Tower sites often stand far from any settlement, so the power plan for each one, whether a grid connection, a generator, a battery bank or a solar array, is settled inside the same programme that deals with the steel, the foundations and the access track.
