Sergi Bosque is regional manager for India, the Middle East and Africa at DNV, working through GreenPowerMonitor, the DNV company whose software monitors, controls and optimises utility-scale renewable plants. The platform covers solar, storage, wind and hybrid assets and has more than 100 GW under management, supported by DNV's network of over 5,000 energy specialists. DNV itself is an independent assurance and risk management organisation whose energy arm advises developers, lenders and utilities on how renewable projects are engineered, financed and run. His regional remit follows the growth of solar and storage across the Middle East and North Africa in the phase that begins after commissioning, when performance data decides how much of a plant's promised output actually arrives.
