Salman bin Mohammed Al-Takhaifi

General Manager of Analysis and Business Intelligence

Salman bin Mohammed Al-Takhaifi has been general manager of analysis and business intelligence at the National Competitiveness Center since March 2020. The centre is a Saudi government body established in January 2019 to develop the kingdom’s competitive environment, improve the efficiency of the procedures and legislation that bear on business, and identify the imbalances within them. Before taking up the general management role he was analytics manager at the same centre between 2018 and 2020, senior business intelligence analyst at the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) between 2012 and 2016, and a business analyst at SABIC between 2010 and 2012. He holds a master’s degree in innovation and entrepreneurship from HEC Paris, awarded in 2021, and a bachelor’s degree in finance from Prince Sultan University, awarded in 2006. His work centres on data analysis and its use in measuring the competitiveness of the economy and supporting government decision-making.
