
King Saud University
King Saud University is the first university established in Saudi Arabia, founded in 1957 by order of King Saud bin Abdulaziz, with its main campus in Riyadh. It is among the oldest and largest higher education institutions in the region, with more than 60,000 students across 25 colleges covering the sciences, humanities, medicine and engineering.
The university runs a number of advanced research and clinical centres, among them King Khalid University Hospital, the King Abdullah campus for female students, and the Prince Sultan Center for Medical Technologies. It works with a wide range of government and private bodies in support of Saudi Vision 2030, and its colleges host scientific conferences and specialised events across their fields.
