Dr Ibrahim bin Sulaiman Al-Haidari served as chief executive of the Health Endowment Fund, which sits under the Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia. The fund was established to grow endowment resources directed at the health sector, channel them into health programmes and projects, and strengthen the partnership between government and the non-profit sector. Before taking over the fund he supervised the community partnership programme at the Ministry of Health, moving from there to lead the fund by decision of its board. Under his management the fund worked to attract health endowments and to build partnerships with national companies and donors; grants from national companies channelled through it exceeded one billion riyals during the coronavirus pandemic, and the fund held a ceremony honouring its supporters and partners. His professional interests bring together endowment work, the financial resource management of non-profit organisations, and the health sector.
