Saeed Bawazeir

Project and Sustainability Director

Saeed Bawazeir is director of projects and sustainability at MenaBev, the Jeddah-based franchise bottler that manufactures and distributes PepsiCo's beverage brands in Saudi Arabia. Its mega plant covers some 300,000 square metres and ranks among the largest PepsiCo bottling operations anywhere, feeding a distribution network that reaches customers across the Kingdom and carrying brands including the Aquafina water line, while the company has been certified as a Top Employer in the region. His post joins two threads that meet on the factory floor: the capital projects that expand and modernise production, and the environmental performance of an industry whose largest inputs are energy, water and packaging material.
