Peter Adriaens

Chief Executive Officer, and Professor of Engineering and Finance

Peter Adriaens is professor of engineering, finance and entrepreneurship at the University of Michigan, where he directs the Center for Digital Asset Finance and the master of engineering in smart infrastructure finance, and is chief executive of EquariusAI. Funded by corporations, financial services firms and foundations, his research covers digital business, finance and data market models for energy, low-carbon and smart infrastructure, and advanced machine learning models that price climate transition risk in capital markets. He teaches engineering economics and finance, resiliency finance and infrastructure project finance. He is a past president of the Association of Environmental Engineering and Science Professors and a member of the American Academy of Environmental Engineering and of the Belgian Royal Academy of Applied Science and the Arts.
