Nehal Alyamani

Electrical and Renewable Energy Engineer

Nehal Alyamani is an electrical engineer working in renewable energy at the Energy and Water Academy, the non-profit training institute founded in 2009 by ACWA Power in the industrial city of Rabigh on Saudi Arabia's Red Sea coast and known before that as the Higher Institute for Water and Power Technologies. The academy prepares young Saudi men and women for technical careers in power generation, water production and the operation and maintenance of plants, and it was the first in the Kingdom to open specialised tracks in solar energy and green hydrogen, among them a partnership with NEOM Green Hydrogen Company to train the workforce for that project. Her engineering work sits on the electrical and renewable side of a curriculum built around the assets the Kingdom is commissioning right now.
