A Qatari businessman, Chairman and Managing Director of the Retaj Group. The group manages hotel and real estate assets valued at close to 30 billion Qatari riyals, working in property development and hospitality management inside Qatar and beyond. Its hospitality arm plans to operate 50 hotels worldwide, with expansion into the Egyptian market including a project in the New Administrative Capital. Al-Thani speaks at economic forums on Arab property markets and the investment opportunities within them, on the role of Qatari hospitality in regional and international expansion, and on retail and marketplace projects as openings for entrepreneurs and as a field for building local brands.
