Nasser Alwohaibi is executive director of business and digital transformation at the Real Estate General Authority, the body established in 2017 to regulate, supervise and develop non-governmental real estate activity in Saudi Arabia, raise its efficiency and encourage investment in it. The authority holds the primary mandate for enforcing real estate registration in the Kingdom and for licensing and supervising real estate activities, and one of its stated tasks is supporting innovation and digital transformation across the sector. Its work follows the comprehensive real estate sector strategy approved by Council of Ministers Resolution No. 252 in 1442 AH, which rests on four pillars: governing the sector, enabling and sustaining it, making the market more effective, and serving partners. The authority also carries out real estate research and statistics, trains and qualifies practitioners, and raises awareness of the sector's regulations.
