Strategy Section Manager at NHC Innovation, the independent technology arm of the National Housing Company. He translates the parent company's direction into a plan of work for the technology arm, decides which digital products get built and which are deferred, and measures what the existing platforms achieve against the targets set for them. Strategic planning inside a technology unit belonging to a national housing developer differs from its counterpart in an independent software company, since its priorities are tied to the delivery schedule of residential projects and to the parent's commitments under government housing programmes. The section's work includes tracking the market and what property technology startups are producing, and deciding what is built in-house and what is contracted to an external provider.
