Islam Shita is Sales Manager at Red Sea Cables Company, a Saudi manufacturer of power cables and wires of all types and sizes. Established in 2008 as a closed joint stock company with a capital of SAR 370 million, Red Sea Cables is a member of the Al-Abdullatif group of companies, whose two largest shareholders are Al-Abdullatif Group Holding Company and Al-Abdullatif Industrial Investment Company. Its 100,000-square-metre plant in the industrial area of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, in Yanbu, applies European know-how in wire and cable production to international standards. The company serves the growing local market and exports to neighbouring countries, supplying the power, oil and gas, and infrastructure sectors.
