Ibrahim Ghayad is a Professor at the Central Metallurgical Research and Development Institute (CMRDI) in El Tebbin, Cairo, Egypt. Developed since the 1980s with support from UNIDO, the institute covers a wide range of metallurgical fields, from mineral processing and metallurgical and chemical processing to materials performance, as well as advanced materials including nanomaterials, electronic and magnetic materials, composites, and refractory and ceramic materials, through its four institutes of Minerals Technology, Metals Technology, Advanced Materials and Manufacturing Technology.
