Hussein Abul-Enein

Director, Head of Middle East

Hussein Abul-Enein is Director and Head of Middle East at Access Partnership. He analyses policy issues and trends across the digital ecosystem with an emphasis on the Middle East and North Africa. His work covers bridging the digital divide, fostering innovation, disruptive technologies and public-private partnerships in line with the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda, as well as cybersecurity policy advisory services. Before joining Access Partnership he worked at multilateral organisations including the International Telecommunication Union and the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, where he was responsible for the ICT4SDGs initiative. He holds an MA in Security Studies from King's College London and a BA in International Relations from the Geneva School of Diplomacy, and speaks Arabic, English and French.
