A cultural professional with sixteen years of experience in the cultural sector. He served on the jury of the 2022 Riyadh International Book Fair Award and on the jury of the schools slam competition at the 2024 Poetry Africa Festival in South Africa, and is a member of the advisory committee for the English literature programme at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University. He has taken part in poetry readings and literary events in Spain, Italy, Germany, China, Sweden, South Africa, Egypt and Brazil. His awards include the 2024 International Ibn Arabi Prize in Spain for the Spanish edition of his poetry collection Where Does All This Death Come From, the 2024 Stockholm Cultural Award in Sweden in the poetry category, and the 2025 best translated foreign author award presented by the Albanian Association of Literature and Translation.
