Gregory Smirin

Gregory Smirin is President of Muon Space, a California-based company that designs space systems and builds low Earth orbit satellite constellations for government and commercial customers. The company recently closed a 146 million US dollar Series B funding round and acquired the propulsion startup Starlight Engines. He has more than 20 years of experience leading technology companies. He served as Chief Operating Officer of The Climate Corporation, an agricultural technology company acquired by Monsanto in 2013, and as CEO of Scuba Analytics, and has held roles at companies including Premise Data, eHarmony, Proofpoint, QuinStreet and VeriSign. He holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Swarthmore College.
