Foziah Gazzawe

Foziah Hassan Mohammed Gazzawe is an Associate Professor of Software Engineering at Umm Al-Qura University and a consultant in digital transformation, artificial intelligence and innovation. She has extensive experience in developing intelligent systems and in using artificial intelligence and data analytics to raise operational efficiency, improve user experience and support decision making in complex environments. She leads and contributes to a wide range of technology driven initiatives and projects that bridge academic research and practical implementation, with a particular focus on smart digital solutions, sustainability and technological transformation across critical sectors. She also holds leadership roles in quality and innovation and serves as a certified quality ambassador with the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization. Her research portfolio includes publications in artificial intelligence, data analytics and intelligent systems, and she received Umm Al-Qura University's Excellence Award in E-Learning for two consecutive years, 2024 and 2025. Through her work she explores the part intelligent technologies play in creating more efficient and sustainable environments, and argues for weaving digital innovation into operational and environmental objectives.
