Fouad Hassanein

Fouad Hassanein is Senior Manager for Architectural Conservation at the Royal Commission for AlUla, where he leads strategic heritage development work, including the restoration and adaptive reuse of historic assets. His team has delivered the restoration of more than ninety assets in AlUla Old Town on time and within budget, and he has overseen the stabilisation of AlMuazzam Fort and the restoration of AlItham Mosque, integrating conservation techniques with community engagement. His responsibilities also extend to directing 2D and 3D documentation and architectural assessments across AlUla and Khaybar's heritage assets, and providing strategic advice to ensure heritage compliance within urban masterplans.
