Fahad Saud Allahaim

Chairman of Technical Committee for Saudi Residential Buildings Code

Fahad Saud Allahaim chairs the Technical Committee for the Saudi Residential Buildings Code at the Saudi Building Code National Committee, and works as an assistant professor in the College of Architecture and Planning at King Saud University. His research covers architectural engineering, civil engineering, and the economics of engineering and real estate, and he has published academic work examining the impact of the Saudi Building Code on residential construction costs. He has also taken part in public outreach on the code, publishing threads and lectures that walk practitioners through its administrative and technical sections as the Kingdom works to standardise construction quality across its residential building sector.
