Principal and Studio Executive Chair

Samer Charara is Principal and Executive Chair of Woods Bagot's Dubai studio, a role in which he also chairs the firm's Riyadh studio and sets its strategic direction, design standards, and business growth across the Middle East. He has spent seventeen years at Woods Bagot and twenty years practising as an architect leading large-scale projects to completion, building a portfolio of award-winning architecture and master planning work delivered across Australia, Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa. His projects span resorts, mixed-use master plans, high-rise residential towers, and retail developments, and his approach has been noted for combining innovation and sustainability with long-term client relationships that keep design quality consistent from concept through delivery.
