Naji Syriani
Hospitality Development Director
Naji Syriani is Hospitality Development Director at Diriyah Company, where he leads development of the 40 hotels planned within the 14 square kilometre, USD 63 billion mixed-use development anchored on the UNESCO World Heritage site of At-Turaif. His role centres on delivering those hotels on time and on budget and on coordinating internal and external stakeholders, from hotel operators and construction firms to Diriyah Company's own project departments. He is a hospitality design and development specialist with 20 years of experience on mixed-use projects across the GCC and EMEA, including a period at Rotana Hotels where he established the Technical Services and Projects Department and delivered the group's expansion plans across a growing portfolio of hotels, resorts, serviced apartments and branded residences. Immediately before joining Diriyah he was Corporate Vice President of Projects at Rotana, leading a team of architects, interior designers and engineers who monitored that expansion alongside renovation work across the existing portfolio. He holds a master's degree in architecture, an EMBA from INSEAD and a certificate in Commercial Real Estate Analysis and Investment from MIT's School of Architecture and Planning.
